Questions
What is free?
Everything that runs on your computer: the editor, both simulators, waveforms, the trace of causes, schematics and state machines, synthesis, place and route, and flashing. Free accounts also get a small monthly assistant allowance on the Fast model.
Does one plan cover Spice++ too?
Yes. One account and one subscription cover RTL++ and Spice++, and the assistant allowance is shared between them.
What are AI credits?
Credits measure assistant usage. One credit is a tenth of a cent of model cost, and stronger models use more per request. Allowances renew every month and do not roll over.
Who can use Student pricing?
Anyone signed in with a school email address, such as one ending in .edu or .ac.uk, at $20 a month.
What happens when I run out?
The assistant pauses until your allowance renews, or you can upgrade. Simulation, builds and flashing keep working.
Can I cancel or switch plans?
Yes, from Manage billing. Upgrades apply right away and are prorated. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep all your projects.
